Pupil Premium Funding
• Pupil Premium is extra money paid direct to schools for each child who is eligible for free school meals due to households being on a low income.
• It is used to support your child’s education.
• If you are eligible, you must apply for free school meals so that your child’s school gets this money.

Getting ready for September
Things to practise at home
• Practise taking off/putting on shoes and socks.
• Practise taking off/putting on coats.
• Practise getting dressed and undressed.
• Practise using the toilet and wiping their bottom.
• Practise using a knife and fork at meal times.
• Practise counting…. Anything!
• Play ‘I spy…..’ type sound games.
• Practise holding pens and pencils with ‘froggy-legs grip’ when colouring in and mark making.

Things to remember…
• Attendance and punctuality.
• Absence requests.
• Sickness – please call when you are able to on morning of illness.
• Headlice – it happens! Please let us know.
• Toilet accidents! – they happen too! Please keep a change of underwear and clothes on your child’s coat peg.
• Getting messy happens!
