glimpse to the people attending
Arriving there: The location of the Global Village is at the Seaside, in Mamaia, Constanta.
You will arrive there by train/bus which is paid by us: •Timisoara and Cluj-Napoca trainees will take the train in the evening of 21st August; •Bucharest trainees will take the bus in the morning of 22nd August; You will be picked up by our volunteers from the train-station and
you will take public transportation which you will pay (~2-3 lei) to arrive to the Hotels.
Accommodation: We are having the accommodation in two different hotels, because we are many. 30 of you will go in one hotel, and 30 will go in the other. One group will probably have to split, please don’t make a drama out of it, since you’ll sleep there only 2 nights

Global Village understanding • This is a session that will happen in the first day where we will talk about
what will happen in the three days and who has what responsibilities • It will also be a get to know each other between all 60 of you
• Please try to sleep in the train or with a night before because we won’t have time to rest before this session and we want you to be all there – body and mind

• Some of you will be interviewed by journalists and some of you will attend to the press conference – we will inform you when you arrive there
• The whole time from 17-20 you will be at your country-desk and you will greet visitors and talk to them
• We will pack-up the location TOGETHER after the event and we’ll go to a party

Timeline and location • The event will last from 17-20, but we will start preparing the location
from 15:00. We will stay until 20:30 to clean the place and then
• After the event we want to go TOGHETHER to party somewhere, so don’t split and wait for the whole group to leave together
• The location is near the beach, in front of RADIO Constanta
Dancing and cooking • Please write your name in the list if you are planning on cooking or
dancing a traditional dance at the event. We will contact you for details afterwards.
• DDL of filling in the list – 15th August
• We are encouraging you to do one of these two things, especially to DANCE to the countries that have more representants (eg: Greece, Pakistan, Brazil, Poland, Taiwan).
• If you decide to dance you will have special time for rehearsal before the event
Romanian Dinner We want to take you to a restaurant if you are interested in having a dinner all 60 of you http://www.laintegra.ro/ -The food will have Romanian specific -It will cost 30 lei without drinks included – you can buy those separately -It is not mandatory, however we would like you to come, and have a beautiful evening together.
-Fill in the list if you want to come until SUNDAY – 10.08
TO pack: -Pack light – bring only clothes for 3 days -Bring your DRBD t-shirt
-Your ID documents for checking in at the hotel -Bring all the traditional clothes, food, objects, materials you have. It’s the last EVENT of the project
-Cameras and laptops -Swimming suit, towel and slippers for the beach
-Hat, sunglasses and protection for the sun -Jacket because it’s chilly in the evenings
Communication: -We will communicate mainly to the three Team-Leaders of the groups, Bilal, Nomee and Hanahh. -We will create a whatsapp group in which we can communicate during the three days -Check constantly the facebook group where we will post things
