Choose from tracks including certified nurse aide (CNA), electrocardiograph technician (EKG), phlebotomy technician (PHLEB), and patient care technician (PCT). The Health Professions pathways will give you a broad understanding of the health sciences while allowing you to specialize in your area of interest. About Collin College’s Program The Health Professions pathways at Collin College prepares students for foundational roles in health care. Students may take one of the Health Professions tracks and develop the skills for certified nurse aide, electrocardiograph technician, and phlebotomy technician with the patient care technician track. All Health Professions pathways are special admissions programs that may require students to complete prerequisite courses, submit additional applications or materials, as well as take an entrance exam.
