form are introduced to healthy food in chapter Food is uneven to food. They are said that our appearance and feelings belong to what we eat. If we eat food which has enough necessary nutrients then our body grows and develops and we are employable and fresh.

The students are given a recipe how to make a very easy meal from curd:

• Take one pack of curd.

• Shred carrot and some garlic.

• Put 1 – 2 spoons of cream.

• Mix everything. • Eat with black

bread.

The students have the chapter Healthy mode of life where they are studying various food and talk about sports.

The students are told that they need a lot of protein, vitamins, mineral stuff (particularly calcium and ferrum).

All these things are in milk, meat, beans, eggs, fruit, vegetables, grains.

The seventh form

The teacher tells the students about Carbohydrates. That help fuel the body by providing energy.

We have to make sure we balance the energy that goes out, with food and water that comes into the body.

We can replace lost energy by eating foods rich in carbohydrates and drinking plenty of water.

You can increase your carbohydrates by:

• always having a breakfast • having thick sliced toast like whole grain

bread • eating brown rice or pasta • having boiled potatoes rather than chips

which are cooked in fats

The students know that Protein is good for the body as it helps to build and repair cells and muscles. It is very important for the body growth.

The body does not save up Protein that is why we need to get it enough with our food every day.

The students are introduced that Fats give the body energy for growth, but they need to make sure they eat the right amount as too much fat can be bad for us.

Fats are very important as a stuff which save up warmth.

You can increase your vitamins and minerals by:

• drinking a glass of pure fruit juice with breakfast;

• eating fruit rather than sweets as a snack;

• having a fruit salad for dessert;

• eating two servings of vegetables or salad for your evening meal.

green vegetables, cabbages, apples, oranges, lemons, tomatoes and potatoes.

• People do not take sports, only spend a lot of time near TV, in the cars, cafe.

• They use fast food which do not have vitamins.

• They use a lot of sweet and fat food which can invade our health.

They are said that it is very important to eat a lot of unprocessed, natural, fresh food, particularly grain meals and vegetables and fruits.

Our Schools in Lithuania do it from the Primary school to Secondary school.
