Class Raffles

Items are on display in the Common Room now through the Jam. Winners will be drawn that night. You don’t need to be present to win. Each class raffle is open only to parents and other significant adults of children in the class, with the exception of Jane’s class cards and the OSP Clean Up Day.

Price: $10 per chance or $25 for three

Sheryl’s Class - Sheryl’s class has hand painted a small, wooden toy chest/bench with their delightful artwork. There’s nothing more endearing than preschool art!

Jane's Class - Back by popular demand, Jane's class under the guidance of Mrs. Weed, will create one-of-a-kind note cards appropriate for all occasions. Sets of cards, one design per child, will be available for purchase by all.

Ginny’s Class - Ginny’s class has sewn a beautiful quilt with squares designed and stitched by the students. Each square has been sewn with a piece of fabric that has a special meaning to the student, such as fabric from a special baby outfit or blanket.

Tamara’s Class - Tamara’s class has hand painted a Japanese tea set containing a tea pot, 4 cups and saucers, and a sushi plate with authentic Japanese designs. You’ll enjoy their images of a tsunami wave, carp and carp kites, dragons, Japanese houses, Mt. Fuji, and beautiful Japanese gardens.

Julie’s Class - Julie’s class has hand painted a lovely piece of pottery, reminiscent of urns used in ancient Egypt. Each student has drawn his/her name in Egyptian Hieroglyphics in a cartouche, and the piece is finished with other symbols of ancient Egypt.

Kate’s Class - Kate’s class has hand painted a cookie jar that literally invites you in. The students have written their inviting phrases in a variety of languages including Greek, French, Chinese, and Pig Latin.

Susan’s Class - Susan’s class has put together a lovely garden basket sure to inspire you to plant your own vegetable garden. The basket includes a variety of vegetable seed packets with covers sketched by the students. These sketches inspire a set of note cards and some plant markers. A selection of garden tools and flower pots is also included.

Polly’s Class - Polly’s class will put together a wonderful photo album highlighting this school year. The album will be delivered after this year’s farm school and camping trips.

OSP - The OSP has once again donated a clean-up crew that will paint your fence, muck out your stalls, rake your leaves, plant your flowers, you need it, and they will do it for you. You will have them for 4 hours on a day that is mutually convenient. This class donation is a silent auction item.

Head for the Day Raffle Just what does Don do in his role as Head, day in and day out? Win this item and your child will experience a day in Don’s shoes.

Price: $1 per chance
