PRAYER AND REFLECTION JANUARY 3, 2021

    Epiphany of Our Lord

Jesus was born to be the Lord and savior, the friend and brother of everyone: people of every nation and race and language; rich and poor; young and old; men and women; successful in the eyes of the world and those whose names are never known. Let us join with Christians everywhere as we pray today. On this day of Epiphany we join with believers everywhere, asking God to bless and grace this world with divine presence as we pray, Be born in us; be born in our world. That there may be respect and cooperation among all Christian congregations, we pray … Be born in us; be born in our world. That our families may know love, joy, health and happiness, we pray … Be born in us; be born in our world. That the sick, the suffering and those who love them may know healing and hope, comfort and care, we pray … Be born in us; be born in our world. That those who need a job will find the work that they are called to do, we pray … Be born in us; be born in our world. That during this new year we will grow to be what God intends us to be, we pray … Be born in us; be born in our world. For those who have died …. (names). That those who mourn may know the steadfast love of God, we pray … Be born in us; be born in our world. Prayer: Good and gracious God of all people everywhere, bring us and all our concerns to the fulfillment your love intends. We pray always in the name of Jesus, our savior and our Lord. Amen

Epifania do Senhor: – Isaías 60,1-6; Salmo 72(71); Efésios 3,2-6; Mateus 2,1-12
