1934 The factory buildings at Reichenberger street have become too small – the company moves to Berlin-Tempelhof

1927 The first compact 1000 W instantaneous water heater is manufactured

1938 Large instantaneous water heaters go into production

1943 Bombed out of Berlin, STIEBEL ELTRON starts

from scratch in Holzminden only a

1946 Production of electrical appliances such as

forced-air ovens, immersion heaters

and hot plates is resumed

1945 Production starts with non- electric appliances such as pats, frying pans, laundry sprinklers and pressing irons

1949 DH 18 – the first hydraulically controlled instantaneous

water heater is build

1952 Under the new company name „STIEBEL ELTRON“ the first aircraft kitchenettes are
