How to Integrate Toggl with Asana?
Go to: www.toggl.com
click the Sign Up button
enter your email and password
then click SIGN UP FOR FREE
type the task or project you are working on
then click the + sign to create a project
add the client’s name or choose Private project
you can also change the color code per project by clicking the arrow down button
then click Create project
Project is listed above
click on And Start tracking
timer will start automatically
Toggl and Asana Integration
to connect Toggl to asana, go to chrome browser
then click here to see the Settings
click on Extensions
scroll down then click Get more extensions
on the “Search the store” box type the word toggl
type the word toggl then hit enter
choose the first option as this is the official toggl button
click + ADD TO CHROME
then click Add extension
This pop-up window will appear. Just read and click close
under Url Permissions, click on asana.com
and click Allow
as you can see the toggl time tracker has been installed to your chrome browser
here you can also see the name of the task as well the name of the project
gray button means the time tracker is not yet activated
You can see the integration of toggl and asana when the toggl button appears on
the task
click on the toggl button to start timer.
Notice: The toggle button is in “Stop timer” mode meaning it is now ticking or is now
tracking
In the box you can also check if it is the right project. If not, just click the arrow
down and select which project.

which means you can stop the
timer anytime without logging in your asana
account.
Press Stop if you want to stop the timer or if the task is done.
notice also that the toggl button in the chrome browser becomes gray again.
Under Timer you can see your task that you are working on, the project and client
name.
You can also see the time you start and finished the task as well how many hours
you spent on the task.
click on Notifications
a new tab will appear showing how to adjust the settings
click on your avatar to see the Profile settings
change the Time Zone by clicking the arrow down button
set the Date format
Time format
Set the duration display format
and the First day of the week format
click on Done to save the changes
a pop-up box will appear if you have successfully updated your profile
click Mark all as read
Your Notifications is clear
click the Dashboard to see the reports
This is the summary report
click the drop down arrow beside the team to see groups and team members
Check on the box to which member you would like to generate report with
Choose client by checking the box beside the name
and click Apply
This is the whole summary report for a particular client and project
You can also Export or Download the report as PDF, CSV or XLS
this is the Detailed report
This is the weekly report
Toggl Insights is for premium members
Saved Reports is also for premium members
Here you can see list of projects you have
click this button to create new project
Type the name of the project, choose a color, and click Create project
to edit a project simply click on the project
Edit the title or change the color code
Add a member to the team
Click Done
click the arrow down button to Edit, Archive or Delete a project
To add a group, simply type the name in the box and click Add
type tag name and click on add
Example: Type Tutorial and click Add
The tag name has been added
In the Help section you will find the useful informations on how to use Toggle Time Tracking
To add a new client, again just type in the name of the client and hit Add

Invite or add new member to the team by adding their email address then click invite
click on Workspaces to create a new workspace
If you click on continue,
You have to choose a subscription plan
under workspace you can also control who can see the team dashboard
Click on More to see more options
on Import/export you can enable integration to different websites like asana
simply click the Enable button to set it up
Allow permission
click on Sync now
Select name of the project
Select users to import by checking the box
then click Next
Do the same to synchronize projects
click on your avatar to see your achievements
Log out when your done
