Admiral Charles B. Momsen, the ad-miral who isn't here (officially), had member Fred (Kamehameha) Cordes out to luncheon at Pearl Harbor last week. He and Momsen are old friends as Fred, who is an expert on subs and elec-trical installations, and he have worked together on Navy sub problems.

Mrs. G. J. Watumul l entertained Ma-dame Vijaya Pandit for cocktails at her home on October 12. Among OCC mem-bers presented were: Duke and Sargent Kahanamoku and wives, the Dick Wheel-ers, the Vladimir Ossipoffs and the Wal-ter Dillinghams.

Shangri La, Doris Duke's home, recently returned from Hollywood where he re-decorated Rudolph Valentino's old home which was recently purchased for Miss Duke. Gomez is planning a long Euro-pean tour in 1955.

Mr. and Mrs. Quintero recently enter-tained Mrs. W. D. Weight at the Club. Mrs. Weight, a long time Island resident, has returned for a visit after a six-year absence.
