Why did we choose iLab as our LMS

• iLab is a leading vendor that serves over 1,000 core facilities across more than 100 research institutions in eleven countries, including 40 of the top 50 recipients of NIH funding.

• Over the past 4 years of investigating various options for a LMS, iLab and the associated Vanderbilt CORES systems, always topped the list –they have merged

• iLab is already installed for WFIRM core labs and is working well to meet their needs

Overview of Implementation Plan • The implementation of this product will begin in August,

and will be active throughout the fiscal year.

• The Shared Resource/Core laboratories will be integrated in phases.

• Since the WFIRM core labs are already using the software, the first step will be adding the front-end authentication software and the back-end interface with PeopleSoft Financials for their labs, while we start preparing the first phase of new labs for implementation.

• Budget for the iLab LMS will be paid through ITS
