DESCRIPTION
On May 2, 2012, the Iloilo City Sangguniang Panlungsod enacted an ordinance authorizing joint venture agreements with people's organizations, non-government organizations AND/OR OTHER PARTNERS, citing Section 35 of Republic Act No. 7160 as its legal basis.This is the ordinance that City Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog used to justify a joint venture contract with Double Dragon Properties Corp. to develop the Parola Ferry Terminal Complex in Iloilo City.Double Dragon is owned by the Sia family led by Injap (Edgar Sia II).TRANSCRIPT
