About  IM3I

• IM3I  provides  the  crea1ve  media  sector  with  a  service-­‐oriented  framework  to  enable  new  ways  of  searching,  summarising  and  visualising  large  mul1media  archives  

• IM3I  is  essen1ally  a  mul1media  informa1on  management  plaDorm  which  is  more  flexible,  adaptable  and  customisable  than  current  repository  soGware  and  enables  new  opportuni1es  for  content  owners  to  exploit  digital  assets

• IM3I  is  co-­‐financed  by  the  European  Commission  under  the  FP7  programme  and  is  run  by  a  consor1um  of  5  SME’s  and  2  RTD  performers  from  the  UK,  Germany,  Hungary,  Italy  and  the  Netherlands

• Aim:  Add  manually  annota1ons,  delete  automa1cally  derived  annota1ons,  add  geo-­‐tagged  annota1ons

• Mul1ple  user  profile:  a  regular  user  may  change  his  own  annota1ons,  while  a  super  user  can  import  the  annota1ons  of  other  users,  e.g.  to  supervise  the  annota1on  process  within  an  organisa1on
