This week we host our cross- town rivals in Ramblers, who we managed to beat at their home ground last round. The team will be fired up in front of a large crowd of premiership heroes of the past, with the club celebrang the 1957, 67 and 77 premierships. We expe- rienced a lot of success in these years with both A and B grades winning in 57 and 67, whilst the A grade won in 77 along with the colt’s team. We also welcome all our wonderful life members to share in what will be a special day for the club. The clubrooms will host this event over lunch at 12:30 before the aenon turns to watching the rest of the re- serves match, followed closely by the league game. I’m sure it will be a long day of catching up and reminiscing about our successful past. Both senior teams will have their work cut out for them, with the roosters slightly above us in both grades. The reserves always seem to have a big game at the moment, and it is no different this week playing for top spot! Around the club there is plenty happening with teas and drinks tonight, geng the current players mingling with champi- ons of the past. Next weekend we have our “Day at the Rac- es”, for $20 entry you get a drinks card, and experience all the fun you would have on track. Dress up, drink cham- pagne, own a horse or pick the quaddie, all in the comfort of the clubrooms. Go You Blues! The Blues are back on track with an un-

interrupted run home to finals after an

extremely messy past couple of months

with more byes than games played.

After a solid day against Mypolonga last

Saturday with many games being very

close with only 1 and 2 goals in it, it was

a great hit out and everyone will be fir-

ing and ready to take on Ramblers to-

day.

With only 3 games left before finals,

now is the time to dig deep and settle

your games to ensure everyone is on

the same page for finals.

Today will be another fantastic day of

competitive netball against our cross

town rivals so make sure you head

across to the courts to show our Blues

girls some support.

Now is the time of year that everyone

needs to take extra care of their bodies

and ensure you all recover well. There

are a number of health and fitness pro-

fessionals at the club who would be

more than happy to provide their ex-

pertise.

Without a doubt this has been a year

full of surprises with many of our net-

ballers falling pregnant. The club ex-

tends our sincere congratulations to

these players and there will be an ex-

citing set of players in the future.

So far we extend congratulations to

Leah Williams, Laura Berling, Crystal

Williams, Alyce Clarke and Simone

Cocks and their respective partners.

Also from last year Sarah Stephenson

and we congratulate Jess Borolo on the

birth of her gorgeous girl Sophia.

All the best to everyone today.

Let’s go you Blues!!
