Objectives Present current research findings about brain research and human psychology that provide a deep level of insight into the critical influences for developing a culture of sustained continuous improvement. Provide hands-on practice with the core behavioral routines of the Improvement Kata and Coaching Kata Practice using the steps of process analysis on an actual manufacturing process; grasp the Current Condition, and establish a Next Target Condition Description Our 1-day classroom training provides a deep exploration into the theory and research that underlies the overall TK (Toyota Kata) methodology. This course introduces and explains new research findings about how Toyota manages its people and sustains a culture of continuous improvement. It develops awareness of a model of leadership and a method of management through which organizations can more efficiently cultivate adaptiveness, innovation, and sustained competitive advantage within their workforce. The described behavior routines are universally applicable in any organization or setting- old or new; manufacturing, service industry, administrative, healthcare, financial, etc. The afternoon session of the course includes a ½-day hands-on practice exercise using a video based manufacturing case study.
