At the heart of the area lies Verona, a

traces of its ancient history, splendid in its
mythical dimension bestowed upon it by the
Shakespearean tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.
Roman ruins, medieval vestiges, Venetian and

For this reason, in the year 2000 Verona was

Chiunque può cimentarsi negli innumerevoli percorsi
a piedi e in bicicletta delle colline veronesi. Tra viti e
olivi si scorgono pievi o chiese minori di grande pregio,
ma anche imponenti ville immerse nel verde. Una
tappa in una delle numerose cantine locali è d’obbligo
per conoscere più da vicino questo territorio.
All visitors can follow the innumerable
paths of the Veronese hills on foot or by
bike. Among vineyards and olive orchards
you can see prestigious parishes or minor
churches, as well as imposing villas immersed
in green landscapes. A visit to one of the
numerous local wine cellars cannot be
missed in order to know better this territory.
Quiconque peut choisir de parcourir à pied
ou à bicyclette les innombrables sentiers des
collines véronaises. Entre les vignes et les
oliviers on aperçoit des églises paroissiales
ou de petites églises de grande valeur,
mais aussi d’imposantes villas perdues

nombreuses caves locales est indispensable

History and nature characterize this territory
which, crossed by the river Adige, extends itself
south of the city of Verona until its borders
with the cities of Mantova and Rovigo. The
natural sequence its colours and landscapes
surrounds country houses, villas and castles.
Poplars and cultivated territories form the
background to a thick net of fortifications and
towers which once surveilled the territory.
Archaeological museums, museums of local
craftsmanship, sanctuaries and parishes are
spread all over the area, mostly characterized
by oasis and natural paths among groves
of reeds, swamp plants and rare species of
flowers. The numerous canals and springs
which bring water to the plain allow abundant
cultures of cereals, fruit and vegetables.
In every season, the Veronese plain offers
enchanting landscapes and deep emotions.

caractéristiques de cette terre qui, traversée
par l’Adige, s’étend au sud de la ville de Vérone
jusqu’aux provinces frontalières de Mantoue
et Rovigo. Les couleurs et les décors simples et

bâtisses, des villas et des châteaux. Peupleraies
et terrains intensément cultivés sont le décor
d’un réseau dense de fortifications et de
tours qui servaient autrefois à contrôler le
territoire. Musées archéologiques, d’artisanat
local, sanctuaires et églises paroissiales sont
présents sur toute la zone, qui se caractérise
surtout par ses oasis et ses parcours naturels
entre cannaies, plantes palustres et rares
espèces floréales. Les nombreux canaux et
cours d’eau qui irriguent la plaine permettent
la culture abondante de céréales, de fruits
et de légumes de qualité. En toute saison,
la plaine véronaise offre des paysages
éblouissants et des émotions fortes.

Handwerksmuseen, Wallfahrtskirchen
und Pfarrsprengel prägen das gesamte

zwischen Schilfrohr, Sumpfgras und raren
Blumensorten. Die zahlreichen Wasserkanäle
und Wasserläufe der Ebene ermöglichen
reiche Getreideernten sowie den Anbau von
Qualitätsobst und –gemüse. Zu jeder Jahreszeit
bietet die Veroneser Ebene bezaubernde
Landschaften und starke Emotionen.

Storia e natura sono le grandi peculiarità di questa terra che, attraversata dall’Adige,
si estende a sud della città di Verona fino ai confini con Mantova e Rovigo.
Il naturale alternarsi di colori e scenari semplici ed ordinati avvolge casolari,
ville e castelli. Pioppeti e terreni intensamente coltivati fanno da sfondo alla
fitta rete di fortificazioni e torri posti un tempo a controllo del territorio. Musei
archeologici, di artigianato locale, santuari e pievi punteggiano l’intera zona, per
lo più sede di oasi e percorsi naturalistici tra canneti, erbe palustri e rare specie
floreali. I numerosi canali e corsi d’acqua che irrigano la pianura consentono
