Spread awareness against Drug addiction in the village because of which many quit liquor in the village.

The need of taking out awareness drive looking at the issue drug addiction among youth in the village. The use of drugs in the village is increasing day by day because of which the conflict in the families is augmenting and because of drugs the life of children and youth is also getting spoiled.

We imagined a village where the youth is putting hard work for the betterment of the family and the village. For this the clean environment and moral education among the youth becomes necessary. Thus, we imagined the village which is free from illicit things like drugs/liquor.

signature campaign was organized in which the community members who decided to join hands against drug addiction come forward with their signature. Along with this posters were pasted in the village.

Organized the rally

Students did street play in the village which was viewed by approximately 90 people and the efforts were appreciated by the viewers

Initially the community members thought that though the students are creating awareness for good cause but it is impossible to restrict youth or people that take drugs or consume liquor. But after the rally and street play many of the youth that take drugs joined the rally and many fell ashamed. Approx. 70 men of the village promised to give up drugs and liquor and will also look after their family members. Women supported the students and stated that you have done a huge task for us. Approx. 55 people have already quit liquor.
