Instructional Plan and Presentation1. Phase I- Title- Christian Witnessing Training Session
2. Course description: This training session is design to prepare the adult learner
how to share their faith effectively and confidently. As well as how to start a
spiritual conversion and give a simple clear explanation of the gospel. John 3:16
will be used as the foundation which is designed to equip Christians to effectively
articulate the message of the Gospel. The tools will assist and help train others to
use the approach learned in this session. Participants will be more inspired, better
equipped and progressively intentional in sharing their faith at the completion of
their training. The target audience is adults ranging from the early twenties to the
late seventy. Consisting of singles, married and divorced adults from all walks of
life.
3. Delivery modality: Face to face interaction between the instructor and the adult
learners. The training will be done in one session. It will be held for 2-3 hours
depending on discussions, time for role-play, demonstrations and “optional”
materials. Allowing 40 to 55 minutes for each of the areas that will be covered.

5. Phase II – The learning objectives:
1. Why share our faith: The key to this section is to motivate and inspire
participants to join God in expanding His kingdom.

2. Starting a Spiritual Conversion- Discover everyday opportunities to
glorify God in our conversations.
3. Explaining the Gospel – Using John 3:16
6. The A-B-C-D format for each goal. As a result of participating in the Christian
Witnessing Training Session, students will be able to explain why they share their
faith, how to start a conversation and how to explain the gospel.
7. The objectives will encourage critical thinking skills. They will summarize or put
into their own words what the teacher or another student has said. Be able to
relate the content to their own knowledge and experience. Be able to make
connections between related concepts.
8. Instructional strategies: Learners will be assess using the exercise in the student
handbook to see if they understand the concepts being taught. Therefore this
course will focus primarily on critical thinking skills. Collaborative learning will
be used strategically, so that the learner will feel confident when they role-play.
9. Instructional Technologies: Learners will explore different websites and use
eBooks to support the goals, objectives and learning strategies of this course.

1. Phase III- This is a 2-3 hour session. Which will be held on the 2nd Saturday in
January 2016.
2. The class will be pitched to the congregation by the Pastor and promoted
within the church. It will be linked to the church Facebook and Twitter page.
3. Participants will sign up for the class.

5. Phase IV- Formative assessment: The participants will pair up and using the
worksheets, explain the Gospel to each other. Summarize the lesson and have a
question and answer session to encourage feedback on what they learned.
