CuisineMongolian cuisine primarily consists of dairy products, meat, and animalfats. Use of vegetables and spices is limited. Due to geographic proximity anddeep historic ties, Mongolian cuisine is influenced by Chinese and Russiancuisine. In fact, one of the most popular dishes is a steamed dumplings itemcalled "buuz" and fried dumpling “khuushuur”. Another popular dish is"lapsha", a simple noodle dish. The word is actually Russian for noodles. And also Mongolians drink milk tea with salt which can be consideredunique because other countries put sugar in it.
