intro to custom reports
DESCRIPTION
Salsa has a lot of built-in reports, but if you need a report highly-specific to your situation, learn to build one from scratch! In this intermediate-level workshop, we’ll define key terms and explore the broad concepts necessary to understand the report building process.TRANSCRIPT

Learning Objectives

• Results are supporter-specific. No donation amounts nor action details can be exported.• Best used for email blast targeting or when you need to update supporter data. • Easier to use data results right away.
Custom Reports
• Can pull data from across many tables.• Best for presenting data and looking at history. • Results need to be exported and re-imported if you want to use the records for targeting.
