British Airways is delighted to announce a brand new direct

service between London Heathrow and the Seychelles,

launching in March 2018.

A spectacularly idyllic archipelago of 115 islands, the Seychelles

lie in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, just off the coast

of East Africa’s Madagascar. With picture-perfect beaches,

coral reefs and nature reserves, this destination provides the

ultimate sunshine escape.

Introducing our new route to the Seychelles

The SeychellesWith only a few of the 115 islands inhabited, this picture-perfect escape makes a refreshingly quiet alternative to other long-haul

beach destinations. Visitors are more likely to share their holiday with giant sea turtles, colourful birds and other exotic species

than with crowds of tourists.

Breath-takingly beautiful beaches are the main draw of the Seychelles, with year-round sunshine, clear blue skies and tranquil

stretches of sand in abundance. Snorkelling and scuba diving are great ways to explore the outstanding coral reefs and spot

tropical fish, with other sports such as windsurfing, hiking, sailing ideal for admiring the picture-perfect views.

The British Airways Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner

The route launches in March 2018 on board our Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Specifically

designed to enhance customer wellbeing, the new fuel-efficient aircraft has smooth-

ride technology, which minimises the effects of turbulence and creates a more

comfortable journey. Lower pressurisation results in cabin air that is less dry,

reducing the effects of jet lag.

Every customer has access to their own personal entertainment system with an

array of audio and video on-demand programmes and movies. The aircraft boasts

our newest First cabin, with extra storage space, larger personal flat-screen television

and of course, a world-renowned service.

British Airways services will operate two flights a week from London Heathrow

(LHR) to Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) in Victoria, the destination’s capital.

Return flights from Seychelles to London will also operate twice a week.
