  • GED Exam Subjects Four subject areas are covered, in

    separate tests: Math Language Arts Science Social Studies Extended Response writing is required on all tests except math.

    A Constitution Test is required in Illinois

    Covers the state and federal governments How to properly display the flag, etc.

    Your class will meet in a computer classroom at least once each week.

    You are also able to use the Adult Ed Computer Center on your own time.

    The mission of the Adult Education program is to provide adult learners with opportunities to acquire and develop the academic and life skills necessary to participate as productive workers, family members, and citizens, and to succeed in post-secondary education.

    Students must be in class on time. Students should attend every day. If a student is absent more than two

    days in a session, he or she will be dropped from the class.

    Student attendance affects funding for Adult Ed programs.
