6848A/1132 Album cover and one page only. This album is inscribed inside the front cover: ‘From Ella & Faulkner of the House of Mackay, wishing Sheila and Betty all happiness in their new sphere, November 1937’. The album was created by the Mackays as Sheila & Elizabeth (Betty) were moving, with their mother, to Melbourne in November, 1937. The pages had contained Mackay postcards of Kalgoorlie scenes and photographs of friends and Repertory Club members. All but the final page were given away or handed on to those interested in them during the ‘girls’ final years at Collins Street, Kalgoorlie. Only the final page remains. One side carries the inscription ‘May memory, like the sundial, mark no hours but bright ones’ and has corners showing where two photographs had been. On the back of the final page a photograph taken as the Laver family was leaving Kalgoorlie has been pasted. This photograph also appears in Album 6848A/1051, p.15 (See 6848A/1134 for full description of photograph)
