The villa is situated on a steep southwest oriented slope close to the centre of Kohoutovice, a suburb of the city of Brno. The surroundings consists of old one storey buildings with a rural character as well as prefabricated houses from 1970’s. The civic services and a stop of the public transport are nearby. I have designed a spacious house for four member family, where a living space downstairs is domi-nating. This space is in touch with a garden thanks to large windows and the direct access to a terrace. Part of the space passes through both floors, upper gallery allows to have control over living space and conversely over the part of the house where the private rooms are.The entrance to the house is located between a garage and the house itself. Through this gap which is roofed with wooden laths an opposite slope can be seen.

There is also a staircase which connects the upper street level with the garden underneath. There are private rooms (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, toilet and a wardrobe) situated on the upper entrance floor. The downstairs is accessible by the staircase from the gallery as mentioned. The main living space is divided into three parts: a library corner with a piano, a living room and a dining area. The space continuous with a kitchen which is separable by a sliding wall as well as a corridor leading to a guest room, bathroom and other facilities. There is also an exit to the garden and a terrace in this corridor. Side building consists of two storeys. There is a garage in the uppert one and a workshop with wine cellar in the lower one.

The shipyard is situated on a bank of the pond (Dlouhý rybník), close to the pavilion (Rybářský pavilon) with a café. I have decided to use a site, which is left after inadequate demolished buildings from 1970’s. My designed object is accessible by a newly built path along the canal and the National centre of garden culture, or directly from the pavilion. The idea was to create a new element, a building that would give light and positively adds up to the current garden, English park with a number of minor buildings in the spirit o the 19th-century-romantism. It is aiming to enrich with a present view of architecture and to add up on variety of a historical town´s architecture.. The character of the exterior nears the Natio-nal centre for garden culture placed in the close proximity. From the layout point of view, I wanted to cover only the essential the given locality requires. The main goal was to provide a base for the boats voyages on the pond and hygienic facilities of the cafe in the Fishermen´s Pavillion which is currently inadequate. These facilities could also serve for culture events held in the garden. The object is designed to be used purely in the season, it is, however, possible to adapt for the use all through the year. A distinctive architectural element on the facade is waved wall of oak lamellas serving also as a shading element and a sitting bench.

Haugschlag is the northernmost small village in Austria, situated on the territory of the natural reserve Reißbach on the border with Czech Republic. There is a parish community which owns a rectory and an adjacent church. Considerable part of the village is occupied by a golf course. The aim of this project was to find a dialog between an old and a new architecture in the rural context. Furthermore we were supposed to come up with an economically sustainable solution of the old rectory reconversion. The rectory was built between 1785-1787 and was used as a parson’s house and for other needs of the parish community. There is a large garden with outbuil-dings on the side, which have mainly a farm character. The whole area is currently dilapidating and losing its original purpose. We have decided to rebuild the area into an accommodation for tourists and visitors of the golf course. There was a half of the rectory left for the parson’s oce. The rest was rebuilt into a spatial apartment. The outbuildings were rebuilt into common rooms and shared a common kitchen. Newly designed extension consists of five duplex units in orded to accommodate bigger groups of visitors. Shape of the building itself is a reaction on the context of rural architecture in Haughschlag.

any future changes in the area of the entire land. The organic structure of the aatrial family houses are respecting the topography of terrain and in three clusters, creates a space for pedestrians. The land is serviced with trac from the north where a common garages and parking lots can be found. Parking spaces outside the houses brings many qualities. People better perceive the environment which they live in. Semi-priva-te space "courtyards" where entrances are oriented to individual houses, evokes a sense of security and has the potential for meeting and leisure with all the inhabi-tants of the residential complex. By using the concept of an aatrial houses, on the contrary, I rather tried to obtain a maximum feeling of privacy, therefore, the strict separation of public space, the area of semi-priva-te space and private space was necessary.

The subject of the bachelor thesis was an urban and architectural design of the residential complex in the area between streets Pastviny and Houškova in the Brno city district Komín. Urban and architectural design will respect the character of the site, especially its topographical and contextual quality, not only with regard to the immediate surroundings, but also in the context of the entire city. Should be taken into account also the current issue of the development of settlements in the Czech Republic with an accent on sustainable development. The project deals with the design of the residential complex in the city of Brno-Komín. With this draft I am creating a completely new element in an existing area of city Komín. My goal was to create a distinctive and compact unit within an adequate scale, which will signify a consistent quality independent of

The Fittja Centre project is a utopian vision showing a transformation of an abandoned central area of the Stockholm’s neighbourhood into a new residen-tial and cultural centre. The fact, that the current central area of Fittja is one impassable space occupied by cars and divided by subway going above ground, brings me to a concept of buildings as a bridge and a solution of the trac situation underneath. I designed a new square where everybody walks through and spends time. The square is bordered with multipurpose and residential buildings. The other three residential buildings consist of units which are possible to assemble into interesting spatial combinati-ons like a one-room flat, duplex with a double height space over to a four bedroom flat.

of local common room, a new meeting point and a place where the associations would become more visible and get involved with more residents who would not usually look up these activities. I decided to place my object in the Fittja’s central park, close to school, where a lot of people pass. There are three main ideas of my proposal: outdoor classroom or common room, a stage and a connecting element, which would bring a new life to abandoned hill behind.

This project is about a cooperation with local community centres in Northern Botkyrka. Our task was to identify needs and work with one or several associati-ons and produce an architecture project which will help them to be more visible and successful. Final presentati-on had to be in the form of a rigorous model that shows the project and how it relates to the context. I wanted to create a space which could be used by several local organisations as well as by a local primary school or kindergarten. It should also be a sort
