Jeffco Student Voice provides a diverse perspective to District leadership to promote positive and successful experiences for all students. Students learn and are provided the opportunity to demonstrate leadership, advocacy and teamwork.
Purpose of Jeffco Student Voice
This year we focused on three core areas:
Leadership: Mentor and build culturally responsive student leaders Advocacy: Encourage student advocacy by engaging in
conversations with the Superintendent and district leadership
Teamwork: Mentor and support advisors and students in creating/supporting similar structures at the school level
Focus of Jeffco Student Voice
Over 80 Student Ambassadors from Jeffco high schools: neighborhood schools, charter and option schools.
Advisors from high schools. District staff members across many departments and schools
organized by the Student Engagement Office.
