Event Cancellation PolicyRegularly Scheduled EventsHealthwise Connection supper clubs, lectures, fitness classes, blood pressure clinics, etc.All regularly scheduled events will be canceled whenever schools in the same community are canceled due to inclement weather or disaster and refunds will be granted. Fitness classes will not meet on legal holidays. If events are canceled for any other reason, we will attempt to contact anyone who has made a reservation for the event.

Special EventsBus Trips, Holiday Extravaganza, etc.You will be informed if a bus trip or other special event for which you have purchased a ticket is canceled. Bus trips are generally not canceled for weather unless the State Highway Patrol closes the highways. Once the cancellation deadline date is past, cancellations are at the discretion of the bus company or catering facility.

Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in America. If everyone age 50 or older were screened regularly, at least one-third of deaths from this

cancer could be avoided. Symptoms may include blood in or on your stool (bowel movement); frequent unexplained stomach pain, aches, or cramps; change in bowel habits, such as having stools that are thinner than usual; unexplained weight loss.

This examination for colorectal cancer includes personal time with a Huron Team physician, lab tests (dress comfortably), and education regarding colorectal cancer.

Robotic-Assisted Home Therapy StudyThe Cleveland Clinic is part of a three-year study focusing on a way toimprove use of the hand and arm of patients with stroke by using a robotic device that helps move the hand and wrist repeatedly. Program is for women 40 years and older; no age restriction for women with a family history of breast cancer.
