Together, we can decide what we want our club to be like in the next three-to-five years. We will determine what we need to do to attain our club’s vision of being a vibrant club. members to voice your ideas about our club’s Goals and Activities. We can maximize our collective expertise to address opportunities inour community to Make A Difference. A Club Assembly can beinspiring for members and fuel our shared passion to do great thingstogether. And have FUN while doing it! There are a lot of things our club is really GOOD at. Now we want tomake those things something we are really GREAT at. Come to ClubAssembly this week to roll up your sleeves, listen to others, voiceyour thoughts, and help us look for new ideas. Let us channel ourenthusiasm into ACTION!

July 20, 2017 meeting notes The meeting was opened by President Kathy. Invocation wasprovided by Tom Maher, song and pledge was led by Dave Evans,guest introductions Chuck Bonza and program introduction byClaudine Perrault. Guests to the meeting included: Eric Robesonfrom Champaign, IL, Ralph Colrud from Sun City West, AZ, and Patand John Vorreiter from Sunny Vale, CA. Sean Allen from the RotaryFoundation was also a guest at the meeting today. He brieflydescribed the role of the foundation, how contributions are received,and what the options are for donors.

President Kathy asked for a moment of silence to honor SamOwori of Rotary International who recently passed away.

The meeting on July 27th will be a Club Assembly. It will be led byKarol, Rita, and President Kathy. Please join us for greatconversation on future plans and strategic ideas for our club for 2017and 2018.

Happy Money

$5 from David Van Wert who was happy about our recent golftournament but was also able to start up a golf tournament inSun City West.Claudine Perrault was happy that Rita DuChateau broughther nephew to Estes to be an intern at the Trail-Gazette. Claudine was also excited about the passion of thenext generation for journalism.Tom Maher was happy for Rotary Foundation Donors.Frank Haines was happy to learn more about Polio Plus.
