GENERAL NOTES1. THIS WORK CONSISTS OF REPLACING THE EXISTING

EXPIRED WOOD FRAME ROOF SYSTEM WITH A NEWNON-COMBUSTIBLE 2 HOUR FIRE RATED ROOFSYSTEM ASSEMBLY ALONG WITH MAINTAINING THEEXISTING 2 HOUR FIRE RATED PERIMETER ANDSEPARATION WALL AS REQUIRED PER 2012 IBC. NEWLIGHTING, HVAC AND OTHER MINOR IMPROVEMENTSWILL ALSO BE PROVIDED AS INDICATED.

2. THE CONTRACTOR IS TO VISIT THE SITE ANDFAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH THE COMPLETE WORKSCOPE AND ALL RELATED CONDITIONS PRIOR TO BID.ANY QUESTIONS OR DISCREPANCIES WITH THEINFORMATION SHOWN HEREIN MUST BE DIRECTEDTO THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO BID.

3. THE CONTRACTOR WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THESTADIUM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY AND TIME ONWEEKENDS ONLY IF APPROVED BY THE OWNER 7DAYS IN ADVANCE OF SUCH WEEKEND.

4. ALL TEMPORARY FACILITIES WILL BY THERESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR.

5. THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN ACLEAN WORK SITE AT ALL TIMES. THE WORK AREAMUST BE CLEANED UP AT THE END OF EACH DAYMINIMUM. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT ALLOW TRASHOR DEBRIS TO BECOME WIND BORNE SO AS TOLITTER UP ADJACENT AREAS OF THE STADIUM.

6. THE CONTRACTOR IS TO AVOID DAMAGE TOADJACENT WORK. ANY DAMAGE WILL BE REPAIRED ORREPLACED AS DECIDED BY THE OWNER WITH THECONTRACTOR SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALLRELATED COSTS.

7. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL LIFESAFETY METHODS AND PRACTICES.

8. THE OWNER WILL REMOVE ALL ITEMS FROM THEWORK AREA THAT THE OWNER INTENDS TO SALVAGEPRIOR TO START OF CONSTRUCTION. ALLREMAINING ITEMS ARE TO BE REMOVED BY THECONTRACTOR AND DISPOSED OF IN A LEGALMANNER.

9. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL ANDDISPOSAL OF ALL CONSTRUCTION DEBRISASSOCIATED WITH THIS WORK. CONTRACTOR ISALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING DUST CURTAINSAND CLEAN-UP AT AREAS REQUIRING CUTTING ORDRILLING OF EXISTING MASONRY SO THAT DUSTDOES NOT SPREAD TO ADJACENT AREAS.

10. CONTRACTOR IS TO PROVIDE A FINAL CLEAN UP OFTHE NEW WORK & ADJACENT SPACES AS DETERMINEDBY THE OWNER & ARCHITECT DUE TO THE SPREAD OFDUST AND DEBRIS.

11. CONTRACTOR SHALL PERMANENTLY IDENTIFY WITHPAINT STENCILING ABOVE CEILING ON BOTH SIDESOF ALL FIRE RATED WALL AT 20'-0" MAXIMUMINTERVALS THE FOLLOWING: "(*) HOUR RATED FIREBARRIER - PROTECT ALL OPENINGS." (*) THE HOURRATING. (1, 2, OR 3 HOUR) WALLS AS SHOWN ONPLAN. NOTATION SHALL BE IN 3" SANS SERIF,GOTHIC OR BLOCK. CONNECT WITH CONTINUOUS2" WIDE STRAIGHT RED LINE BETWEEN EACHSTENCILED NOTATION.

12. AT RATED WALLS (TYP.) SEAL MASONRY TO ROOFDECK PER U.L. ASSEMBLY REQUIREMENTS. PACKFIRE SAFING MATERIAL SOLID IN WOIDS AND SPRAYWALLS WITH ACRYLIC FIRE SPRAY AS REQUIRED TOACHIEVE SPECIFIED RATINGS.
