2—Highlights from the Annual IISE Conference in Orlando Kaz Takeda, Manager of Industrial Engineering for Disneyland Park and Jared Frederici, The Poirier Group, and Scott Sink, ISE at Ohio State, representing the Industry Advisory Board, Young Professionals Group and Council on Industrial and Systems Engineering, created a Performance Excellence Track. This track was specifically designed for Students, Young Professionals as well as Seasoned ISE professionals in various roles. We found thought leaders from our ISE profession to speak specifically to four sub-track themes or focusses: 1—How to strengthen ‘Soft Skills’, improve Personal Mastery; 2—Learn about where ISE is headed, Career Directions and Trends; 3—Continuing Professional Development, building on your ISE foundation in ways that progresses your career; 4—How to leverage ISE to create more value in the organization and in doing so advance your career faster.
