Justin Perich’s Top 5 Favorite Golfers
Justin Perich attended Ann Arbor Pioneer, where he played for the golf and tennis teams. While
Justin would go on to study Pop Culture at Bowling Green State University, major in digital filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, and work in the music industry in New York City, he
has always harbored a special love for the game of golf.
These are his top 6 favorite golfers.
Fred CouplesFred Couples is a former World Number 1 and has won numerous events. Inducted into the World
Golf Hall of Fame in 2013, Couple is known for his
impossibly long drives. For this reason, he is known
to his fans as Boom Boom.
Nick FaldoNick Faldo is an English
golfer known for his single-minded dedication to the game. In his prime, he was ranked at Number
1 on the Official World Golf Ranking for 97
weeks.
Lee Westwood
Another Brit, Lee Westwood is known for his consistency. He has won tournaments on every
major continent, and has been player of the year three different times.
Known as one of the best golfers without a major championship victory
under his belt, he was the one to end Tiger Woods’
reign in 2010 and become the World Number 1
golfer.
Ian PoulterOkay, so I’m a big fan of golfers from across the
pond. While he’s only ever ranked as high as number 5 in the world, and he’s
known to be quite a hothead at times, he’s got
enough skill and major championships under his belt to earn my praise.
John DalyJohn Daly is not only an exceptional golfer but a unique personality. His
appearance and attitude are decidedly non-country
club, but his drive certainly means business—that’s why they call him
“Long John.”
Boo WeekleyNicknamed after Yogi Bear’s sidekick, Boo
Weekley’s never gotten past 25 in the world
ranking, but I love his attitude and
professionalism.
