At just 23, this young man has really drawn alot of attention to the ranks of Canadian
professional golfers. In summer of 2015 heplayed against fellow Canadian and 2003
champion Mike Weir at the Masters. Connershas played a combination of Web.com Tour,Mackenzie Tour, and PGA Tour games thus
far.

STEPHEN AMES
Though he was not born in Canada, he haslived here and played for us throughout his
professional career. Ames is a four time Tourwinner and famously won the 2006 Players
Championship in just six shots. In 2014 he wasinducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.
MACKENZIE HUGHES
MACKENZIE HUGHES
Hughes is another under-30 player who hasbeen earning a lot of attention for himself.
Just two years ago he was the very firstOrder of Merit winner for the Mackenzie
Tour. His two consecutive wins in theCanadian Amateurs put him back on the
Mackenzie Tour again this year where he hasmade admirable showing on the money list
at number 16.

Definitely one of the most noteworthy maleplayers to have ever come from Canada,
Weir is famous for his eight Tour wins and forbeating the legendary Tiger Woods at the
Presidents Cup competition in 2007.
