Condition of Agreement

Health Guarantee

1. This cat/kitten will be up to date on all immunizations at time of arrival and a shot record, health certificate, and TICA registration papers will accompany the cat/kitten.

2. This cat/kitten is guaranteed to be of sound health at the time of pickup/delivery. It is highly recommended that the buyer bring cat/kitten in for a check-up with the buyer’s vet within 72 hours. If any illness is found during this 72 hour period, and is so documented in writing by a board-certified veterinarian, the cat/kitten can be returned to the seller and the seller will replace the cat/kitten with a cat/kitten of comparable quality when one becomes available. No monetary refund will be given. Seller must be notified within 24 hours of the examination by a veterinarian.

3. The seller is not responsible for any vet bills incurred with the buyer’s veterinarian. The seller will only cover veterinarian costs at their own vet.

4. This cat/kitten is guaranteed against fatal genetic diseases. If any inherent genetic disease is documented within the first two years of life, it must be documented in writing by a board-certified veterinarian. The cat/kitten will be replaced by the seller with a healthy cat/kitten of the same quality when it comes available. No monetary refund will be given.

5. If this cat/kitten dies in the first year of its life due to a lethal genetic or congenital defect, the cat/kitten will be replaced with one of equal value, when one comes available. The buyer must provide a signed written necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian to the seller. No monetary refund will be given.

Buyer Responsibilities

1. This cat/kitten will be kept indoors or in an enclosed outdoor area, and not be allowed to roam freely outside.

2. This cat/kitten will not be declawed under any circumstance.

3. Should the buyer and seller come to an agreement for this cat/kitten to be replaced for any reason, the responsibility of the shipping cost will be that of the buyer.

4. Buyer agrees to give this cat/kitten a good and loving home. Said cat/kitten will be kept up on all vaccinations and the buyer will make sure that all medical attention and treatment is given as necessary and in a prompt manner. The buyer agrees to properly feed and care for

the cat/kitten. Under no circumstance will this cat/kitten or its progeny be sold, leased, given away to any pet shop, research laboratory animal shelter, or similar facility.

This contract is legally binding to all parties involved. Any legal fees incurred in upholding this contract will be paid by the buyer. Venue is in the state of California and in the county of San Bernardino. Buyer’s signature indicates full agreement with these terms.
