Level Category, held at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore on

01.07.2017 & 02.07.2017 and won the GOLD MEDAL.

Our college Badminton (Men) Team participated in the Coimbatore District Level

Badminton tournament, held at Maruthi College, Coimbatore from 26.07.2017 to 29.07.2017

and won the I Place in Singles & II Place in Doubles.

Our college Badminton (Men) Team participated in the Coimbatore District Level

Badminton tournament held at Krish Academy Selvapuram, Coimbatore from 30.07.2017

and won the III Place.

Mr.Naveen of II B.Com (main) participated in the Coimbatore District Athletics Meet, held

at Nehru stadium, Coimbatore on 21.08.2017 & 22.08.2017 and secured BRONZE MEDAL.

Our College Table Tennis team (Men) participated in the Bharathiar University Inter

College Table Tennis Tournament held at RVS College, Coimbatore on 30.08.2017 and won

the Runner up trophy.

Mr.V.S.Venkatesh of I M.Com participated in the Bharathiar University Inter College

Taekwondo Tournament, held at SNMV college of Arts & Science, Coimbatore on

31.08.2017 and won the Silver Medal.

Mr.P.Barath of III BA English (Aided) participated in the Commonwealth Power Lifting and

won the gold medal in 74 Kg Junior Level Category, held at Potchefstroom, South Africa from

10.09.2017 to 18.09.2017.

Our College Volley Ball (Men) team participated in the Bharathiar University Inter College

Volley ball Tournament held at Dr.N.G.P College, Coimbatore, on 21.09.2017 & 22.09.2017

and won the III Place.

Mr.G.Prasanth of I BCA participated in the National Level 9th

South Zone shooting

championship competition, held at Madurai rifle club, from 22.09.2017 to 26.09.2017 and

won the silver medal .He also participated in the 61th

National Shooting Championship 2017

held at Delhi from 09.12.2017 to 12.12.17 and won a SILVER MEDAL.

Our college Badminton Team (Men) Participated in the Punyah Badminton League held at

Bharathiar University, Coimbatore from 25.08.2017 to 27.08.2017 and won BRONZE

MEDAL.

Our college Badminton Team (Men) Participated in the Coimbatore District Level Ilavenil

Trophy Badminton Tournament held at Premier Play Field, Coimbatore, on 24.09.2017 &

25.09.2017 and won the BRONZE MEDAL in singles & SILVER MEDAL in doubles.

Ms.S.Dharani of II B.Sc Bio-Chemistry participated in the State level Cycling Championship

Competition, held at NPR College Dindugal from 13.10.2017 to 15.10.2017 and won 1600

mass start –GOLD MEDAL & 800 TIME TRAIL – BRONZE MEDAL..

Our College Cricket team won the Championship Trophy in the State Level Nehru Inspire

Trophy held at Nehru Institute of Management Coimbatore from 19.10.2017 to 21.10.2017

and won I place.

Our college Volley Ball team (Girls) participated in the MGR Volley Ball Trophy held at

Nehru Stadium Coimbatore, on 25.11.2017 & 26.11.2017 and won the III PLACE.

Our college Volley Ball team (Girls) participated in the Chief Minister Volley Ball Trophy

held at Nehru Stadium Coimbatore, on 28.11.2017 & 29.11.2017 and won the II PLACE.

Mr.V.S.Venkatesh of I M.Com participated in the 2017 Mumbai Korean Consic Taekwondo

Championship held at Mumbai from 26.11.2017 to 28.11.2017 and won the SILVER

MEDAL..

Mr.S.Salmaan of III BBA CA participated in the 18TH

NATIONAL –cerebral palsy

FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP 2017 held at Goa from 17.12.2017 to 19.12.2017 and won the

Runner up and awarded the Best Player of the Tournament.

Mr.S.Dinakar of II B.COM participated in the Chief Minister Table Tennis Trophy held at

PSG TECH, Coimbatore, on 09.12.2017 and won the III PLACE in singles.

Mr.V.S.Venkatesh of I M.Com participated in the 7th

Winter Cup Open National

Taekwondo Championship held at Delhi on 30.12.2017 & 31.12.2017 and won the SILVER

MEDAL

Mr.S.Salmaan of III BBA CA participated in the 12th

South Asian International cerebral

palsy Football Championship held at Nepal from 13.1.2018 to 17.1.2018 and won the

RUNNER UP trophy.

Our College Cricket team in the State Level Nehru Inspire Trophy held at Nehru Institute

of Management Coimbatore from 27.01.2018 to 30.01.2018 won the Runner Up and

Mr.A.Manoj kumar of II M.Com won the Best Player of the tournament award.

Our college Throw Ball Girls Team participated in the Ramakrishna women college throw

ball trophy held at Ramakrishna women college Coimbatore, on 6.3.2018 and won the III Place

SPORTS DAY 2017-2018

The sports day of our college was celebrated on 2nd

march 2018.Dr.V.Balasubramaniam,

Principal of the college welcomed the gathering.. Dr.C.A.Vasuki Secretary & Director of the

college presided over the function Dr.P.K.Kavithashri presented the annual sports report of the

academic year 2017-2018.Thiru.Sujith Kumar IPS Dy.Commissioner of police (Traffic)

Coimbatore city was the chief guest and delivered the sports day address followed by the

distribution of prizes and scholarships. Ms.V.Subasri, Sports Secretary of student association

proposed the vote of thanks.
