Purpose
• Review the variances between two HL7 implementation guides
• Build consensus around variances and how to resolve/mitigate
• Select an implementation guide
– Can be combination of
• An existing implementation guide
• An existing implementation guide with minor modification (may require out of cycle ballot)
• A blended guide that harmonizes
• Determine needed enhancement for Meaningful Use Stage 2 and possible enhancements for future Meaningful Use Stage 3 requirements
