Continuous innovation is what Maars Living Walls
is known for. With lalinea, Maars has achieved a
new level of refinement and technical perfection.
lalinea was developed in collaboration with a leading
international architectural firm with minimalist design
as the starting principle, and was designed for
the upper end of the market. This unique wall was
realised through the application of newly developed
techniques. The extremely slim, continuous lines
of the top and bottom sections, the patented flush
glass connections and the absence of vertical
sections make the aesthetics of lalinea unique.
The maximum transparency creates an unparalleled
sense of freedom and space.
The top and bottom profiles are the lowest in the
world, only 22 mm / 7/8” high with a tolerance
range of +/- 13 mm / 1/2”. The patented adjustable
floor and ceiling connections are unique as well.
The sections are available in (brushed) anodised
aluminium or with a powder coating in any desired
colour.

Living Options
The closed wall panels allow for the integration of light, air, visuals,
sound and climate control, such as our patented ventilation studs,
dolby surround panels and in-wall multimedia flat-screens. In our Living
Options program you will find the many surprising options.
Unlimited combinations
The lalinea glazed walls can be combined with the slim, solid Maars
walls, made from materials such as steel, wood, veneer, fabric
and leather. We can offer seamless connection in every possible
combination. Our powder coating installation enables us to provide
steel panels and sections in any colour. Also wood, veneer, fabric and
leather are available in many different colours.
A new level of transparency
In the transparent lalinea office, you feel like there are no boundaries,
thanks to the barely visible line between the rooms and the corridors.
At the same time, the high acoustical performance of the lalinea system
wall – which can be up to 48dB – enables you to focus on your work.

A new freedom in design
lalinea means a revolution in every aspect. The double glazed
wall is only connected at the horizontal ends, creating a
continuous glass wall with subtle joints. A glazed wall that
even continues into the door modules, allowing the doors to
be flush with the glass wall. In other words, lalinea does not
have traditional door sections. The top and bottom sections,
which are only 22 mm / 7/8” high, continue on in the doors.
The invisible hinges and the new, exceptionally slim lock allows
for the thinnest door sections. The unique pivot construction
has been tested for more than 100,000 cycles. The automatic
threshold is adjustable. In corners, the glazed walls can be
connected without any sections.
