Dear Parents / Carers,

RE : AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY PROGRAMME - AUTUMN 2015

Please find overleaf a programme of After School Activities for the Autumn Term

2015. The courses available are to be led by either our teaching and support staff or

by external agencies. The courses offered are allocated to specific year groups and

I would ask you and your child to look carefully at these.

Please only request a place for a course after you have considered other prior

commitments, which may fall on the same night / at the same time.

Most courses are due to start from Friday 2nd October 2015, so I would appreciate

all forms returned to me by Tuesday 22nd September 2015 when I shall process the

preferences made. Please indicate whether you wish your child to be considered

for a place on any of the activities listed by either ticking one box alone, or where

there may be an order of preferences please indicate 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the boxes

instead. You are also welcome to request more than one place in the same term, i.e.

your child to do two or more clubs.

Please note that an indication of preferences does not guarantee a place on a

course at this stage.

N.B. Where there are more requests for a course than available places, all forms

returned by the above date will then be placed into a hat and selected fairly. You will

then be notified by a further letter if your child has gained a place on the course of

his / her choice. Please therefore send NO MONIES until a place is confirmed.

Please return the form overleaf to your child’s class teacher / school office by the

above date ensuring that your child’s name and their class teacher’s initials are

shown for ease of processing.
