Happy April! I think we are all delighted to see the snow almost gone and temperatures start to rise. As we enter into fourth quarter please take some time to talk to your child about finishing the school year on a positive note. Believe it or not, some students will tend to direct their attention to other things as the weather starts to warm up and summer vacation creeps closer. The fourth quarter encompasses not only spring co-curriculars, but important items such as Aspire and Forward Exam Testing, ensuring fall academic eligibility, graduation and final exams.
We will be on a special schedule Tuesday and Wednesday, April 23 & 24 because of Aspire Testing - please see Page 2 for more information.
Remember, you are the most important influence in your child’s life, and you play a key role in helping your child learn how to make smart choices and decisions.

Scholarship program on the same night. However,
this year we will be moving the Academic Awards
presentation to Friday, May 24 and it will be part of
our End of the Year Student Celebration Assembly
during the school day.

LET 'S TALK :
HOW TO ENSURE THAT YOU AND
YOUR CHILDREN ARE USING
MODERN TECHNOLOGY IN SAFE
AND RESPONSIBLE WAYS .
SOCIAL MEDIA AND
THE INTERNET
In our always on society, the use of social media and the internet is a
given. Modern technology is ever changing, which means the "hot" apps
and latest threats can be hard to keep track of. This event will provide
insight on the basics of cyber safety and digital citizenship, give an
update on the potential dangers that exist and what apps to watch for,
provide tips and resources, and equip all attendings to be more
responsible users of technology.
This presentation is for anyone who uses social media or the internet!
