The level map is the best way to evidence the environment you have created as this shows the layout of your game from above.

Environment

It is also important that you show evidence of enhancing your map using props that help to decorate each area.

If you have changed the properties of some of the props around your map it would also be good to show evidence of this too.

The client asked you to put at least four doors into the map and you need to show evidence of how you open these doors.

Interaction

You need to give evidence of at least five characters showing their actions and any properties that were set.

If you have other things a player can interact with include these too: Levers Consoles Furniture Keypads

Finally, your game had to have some kind of scoring system built into it where pickups with points attached will have been used.

Scoring System

You need to provide evidence of the following popup screens used: Game Instructions Win Screen

There may also have been some negative pickups in the game with properties that make the game more challenging for the player.

The difference between grade boundaries in this part of the unit comes down to the success of the algorithms in the game:

Marking

Most Rules Working Good map with appropriate props

Merit7-11 Marks

All Rules Working & AppropriateEnhanced map, suitable properties set

Distinction12-15 Marks

Some Errors in RulesBasic map with a few simple props

Pass1-6 Marks

Each screen shot that you include must be annotated explaining what technique you are demonstrating.

Make sure you show any additional rules or actions you’ve added that enhance your game.

Your Task
