cooperation with those who make the

social integration plan

To promote the integration into Finnish

Cooperation with other parties (hobbies,

To find personal ”schoolpath” to

everyone

COOPERATION BETWEEN SCHOOL

AND HOME

The parents or guardians are introduced to

the process of education and growing up

in Finnish society

Introduced to understand the Finnish

school system, the curriculum, pupil

assessment, teaching methods and the

pupil’s study programme.

Guidance and counselling must give special

attention to ensuring that the pupil has a

realistic notion of his or her level, skills and

chances to further studies

CERTIFICATES

The pupil is given a certificate of attendance.

The subject studied, their bredth, and the

The certificate may be supplemented by a

description of the pupil’s progress in basic

education subjects studied in the course of

the preparatory instruction.

Young people who have had little or no

schooling

Level of language performance in the ninth

grade according to the Language Proficiency

Scale.

The Language Proficiency Scale is a Finnish

application of the scales included in the Council

of Europe’s Common European Framework of

Reference for language learning, teaching and

assessment.
