to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik & is registered under the Indian Association of

College has an intake capacity of 30 students at the Under Graduate level. Masters of Physiotherapy Degree

has started from 2010-11. It is awarded after the completion of 2 years Course. College has an intake capacity

of 2 Post Graduate students each year.

Value Added lectures

1. Seminar on Graphology by Dr. Zubin was organized on 2nd May 2016, for I to IV years

Students.

2. Lecture on Web Surfing & Web Browsing was conducted on 18th May 2016 by Dr. Ravi Tikate.

3. On 7th September 2015, workshop on Art Based Therapy for treatment of Neuromuscular

Disorders by Mr. Indrajit Deshmukh was conducted for 2nd, 3rd & 4th year students.

4. In the month of January 2017 our college organized the seminar on “Soft Skills” for the

Students and Staff. Mrs. Neeraja Bajaj was the speaker for the same.

5. In the February 2017, our college organized the Seminar on “Sexual Harassment at Work

Place, by Mrs. Jactina Bastian. All the Students and the Staff attended the Seminar.

Co-curricular Activities of the Students

1. Dr. Ronika Agrawal and M.P.Th Students attended the two days State Level Seminar on

‘Qualitative Research in Education’ on 25th and 26th November 2016.

2. On 5th, 6th & 7th December MPTh Students attended The State Level Research Methodology

workshop in Sancheti College of Physiotherapy.

3. Dr. Ronika Agrawal and Dr. Sanjeev Singh attended the Academic Leadership and Data

Analysis workshop organized by UGC and Allana College of Management Sciences on 15th

December 2016.

4. Dr. Ketki Ponde & Dr. Preeti Shah presented the poster in ‘Avishkar 2016’ annual event of

MUHS. Five 4th BPTh Students also participated in Poster Presentation. Two Students went for

the next round. One Student has been selected to represent the MUHS University in the Inter –

University round at Nanded.

5. Our PG Students attended the International Mulligan Workshop in Sancheti Institute from 12

to 15 January 2017 and 10th to 12th February 2017.

6. 12th March 2017 ‘State Level Conference - Scientifica’ was organized by Sancheti College of

Physiotherapy in Sheraton Grand Hotel, Pune. Our college students participated in events like

Scientific Paper Presentation, Debate, Clinical Mad Ads and Research Protocol and won

various prizes. Our PG Students Akshay won 2nd prize in Paper Presentation and Intern

Naemah Ansari got 1st prize for their Paper Presentation.

Extra-curricular Activities of the students

1. Three students from our college went to Asha Centre, London through Lila Poonawala

Foundation for 3 weeks. They were given training to be the Peace Ambassadors. On 27th

September 2016, students gave presentation to other students as to how that can be

implemented in our surroundings.

Sports & Cultural week

2. In February 2017 Fresher’s Party was organized to welcome First Year B.P.Th. Students,

Farewell was given to the interns.

3. Intra- Collegiate Sports Meet was organized where students participated in various sports.

4. Funfair & Cultural week was organized by the Students.

5. In March 2017 Prize Distribution Ceremony was held where Academic & Sports prizes were

given.
