from the so-called “normal”
individuals such that they require
modification of school practices
and services to develop them to
their maximum capabilities.
Special Education Teacher
- any teacher who handles a class
of children with special needs or
renders special education
services whether he is formally
trained or trained through in-
service trainings.Special Learning Areas- are those subjects taught to
children who are impaired in any
area due to disability.
Inclusion
- is the process by which a school
attempts to respond to all pupils as
individuals by considering its curricular
organization and provision.
MainstreamingThe placement of a learner with special
needs in regular educational programs
and given special instruction in
specific learning areas.
