Community Appalachian Eastern Kentucky boasts a richness of community and a strong sense of place rooted in its mountains, its rivers, its music, and, most importantly, its people. As these communities strive to address well-documented and long-standing regional disparities in health and well-being, many promising community-level efforts already are in place, while others are in different and exciting stages of development.
