Marco Ghionzoli Specialista in Chirurgia Pediatrica, ha trascorso l’ultimo anno di specializzazione in Chirurgia Pediatrica lavorando presso l’Institute of Child Health (University College of London) interessandosi di ricerca scientifica di base, volta all’analisi molecolare dei meccanismi che regolano l’attivita’ delle cellule AFS (cellule staminali di derivazione amniotica) in un modello animale di enterocolite necrotizzante. Si e’ inoltre interessato di ingegneria tissutale intestinale. Attualmente sta collaborando con l’Institute of Child Health ed e’ PhD student presso l’Universita’di Firenze.
