Marvelous Maker March Break! Maker Culture is a twist on the DIY (Do It Yourself) craze that has taken the country by storm. Often Maker Culture refers to high tech gizmos and gadgets, but it can also include homemade and home-grown projects. The real basis of Maker Culture is to test the limits of your creativity, learn by doing and engage in hands-on projects. We have lots of fun, exciting things in store for kids of all ages. We look forward to seeing you! Movie: Frozen Friday, March 7 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 9 1:30 p.m. Main Branch Rated G Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest- like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter. After the movie, enjoy a slice of pizza courtesy of Boston Pizza (March 7 only). All ages welcome. Do you have old toys gathering dust in your basement? Dig them out and bring them in to our Toy Lab to give them new life! Trade your action figures and stuffed animals with other kids in our Toy Fair and then visit the Creature Corner to use all the pieces to create an all-new creation of your own imagination. Your new monstrosities...er, toys... will be entered into a Frankenstein Fashion Show where each will be awarded a prize for something that makes it unique! Ages 6 - 12.
