DESCRIPTIVE TEXT

According to Kane (200:352), description is about sensory axperience – how something looks, sound, tastes. Mostly it is about visual experience, but description also deals with others kind of perception.

There are two generic structures of descriptive text. There are :

Identification • Identifies phenomenon to be described or

introduction the subject.Description • Describes parts, qualities, physical

appearance, characteristics

There are two grammatical features of descriptive text.
