Helping the company acquire its largest competi-tor, Ankura executed flawless transaction close, managing the transaction fund transfer, tightly coordinating global communications, and orchestrating new em-ployee events. During the engagement, Ankura completed the rebrand of 102 locations on day 1, set up an IMO, developed a 5-year strategic roadmap, and im-plemented PMO governance to ensure momentum on prioritized projects. As a result, the company achieved operational steady state in 50% of the targeted time.

Creating Unexpected Value through Successful Divestiture – Ankura led the execution of a complex divestiture for a multi-billion dollar global automotive parts manufacturer, performing rapid planning and leveraging its team’s exten-sive M&A knowledge to ensure the divestiture occurred nearly a month earlier than expected. As part of the divestiture, Ankura acted as de facto chief of staff for divestiture leader, holding vendors accountable for process alignment and executing change and communication leadership to support the retention of key talent. As a result, the client saw three times the number of forecasted approved bidders through the bid process, with bid prices 40-80% higher than projected.
