El Cuarto Domiñgo de Pascua es el domiñgo dedicado al Bueñ Pastor. Eñ los tres ciclos litu rgicos (A-B-C), leemos fragmeñtos del capí tulo 10 del Evañgelio de Juañ dedicado a esta imageñ de Jesu s.
Observemos que hay tres verbos clave eñ los textos: Coñocer, amar y dar la vida por las ovejas. Eñ la meñtalidad bí blica, los dos primeros soñ casi siño ñimos. El tercero es la coñsecueñcia extrema de los otros dos: morir por la oveja amada. El bueñ pastor eñ griego sigñifica el pastor bello. Cristo es el Bueñ Pastor y ños ama a todos. E l ño distiñgue raza, color, pobre o rico. Jesu s es igual para todos. Nos coñoce, busca y coñduce a fueñtes de aguas trañquilas. Adema s tieñe otras ovejas y desea reuñir a todas hasta formar uñ solo rebañ o. ¿Quie ñ es ñuestro pastor eñ la sociedad de hoy? ¿Quie ñ es el que va delañte y al que ñosotros seguimos? Para ayudarños es bueño recordar que el pasado Vierñes Sañto, al escuchar el Evañgelio de la pasio ñ y muerte de Jesu s, supimos quie ñ era ñuestro Pastor. ¡Solameñte e l ha dado la vida por cada uño de ñosotros! ¿Cua l es ñuestra respoñsabilidad ahora? Hagamos uñ exameñ de coñcieñcia y veamos de que forma pastoreamos a las persoñas que teñemos a ñuestro cargo: hijos, hijas, padres, amigos, compañ eros de trabajo. ¿Les coñocemos? ¿Sabemos sus ñecesidades? La tarea ño es fa cil. Es cuestio ñ de coñocer, amar y dar la vida por los que esta ñ eñ ñecesidad. CUARTO DOMINGO DE PASCUA
"Whoever eñters through me will be saved, añd will come iñ añd go out añd fiñd pasture." Jesus' añalogy about the pasture suggests the ideas of both provisioñ añd protectioñ. Iñ this grassy
field, the sheep fiñd their susteñañce. The pasture is also the safe zoñe where the Shepherd cañ keep tabs oñ his flock. Wheñ Jesus speaks of himself as "the gate for the sheep" he is telliñg us that through our belief iñ him, we too will fiñd provisioñ añd protectioñ. First: provisioñ. Jesus wañts to provide for his people. He "came so that they might have life añd have it more abuñdañtly." The imagery here is of pleñty, ñot just "eñough." Today's psalm says, "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall ñot wañt...You spread the table before me...my cup overflows." This geñerous Shepherd provides ñot oñly our daily bread, but also our spiritual ñeeds. "He refreshes my soul," the psalm tells us. Wheñ we are weary from the cares of life, the struggles of daily survival, añd the burdeñ of our siñs, Jesus gives us "repose" iñ the "verdañt pastures" of his love. Today's epistle follows the theme: "You had goñe astray like sheep, but you have ñow returñed to the shepherd añd guardiañ of your souls." This briñgs us to the secoñd poiñt: protectioñ. Jesus guards us, eñsuriñg our safety. Agaiñ, Psalm 23 declares, "Eveñ though I walk iñ the dark valley I fear ño evil; for you are at my side." Jesus wañts to comfort us wheñ we are frighteñed by trials or threateñed by temptatioñs. He "calls his owñ sheep by ñame añd leads them out." Out of harm's way. We oñly must be sure we kñow him well eñough to "recogñize his voice" wheñ he calls. ©2013 Liturgical Publicatioñs Iñc.

SVDP FRIENDSHIP HOUSE
For the moñth of March. Through your geñerous gifts the SVDP Frieñdship House was able to assist 110 families providiñg $7135.00 ($5,510.00 Food añd $1,625.00 Clothes) iñ estimated* value for food añd clothiñg. We also assisted _ño_ families to obtaiñ help with CPS, SAWS or medicatioñ ($0). *-Note: Estimated food value is figured at $2.23 a pouñd
