At Least 2 Courses are Offered in the Texas Medical Center Each Semester (Fall, Spring, Summer)

Classes:

• usually meet one evening per week

• from 5:00 to 8:00pm (9:00pm for some summer courses)

• at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas Medical School Building Computer Lab

Linked Courses (offered in some semesters):

• 2 courses are taught collaboratively by two different instructors

• Content of one course complements content of the other course

• Students are required to enroll in both courses and earn 6 hours of credit for the two courses

• Assignments and final semester projects for the two courses are linked so the work done for one course is connected to the work done for the other course

Transfer Credit

• Up to 9 Semester Hours (3 Courses) of graduate work with a grade of B or higher may be transferred from an accredited university

• Requires approval of student advisor and UH College of Education Associate Dean for Graduate Studies

• Copies of course syllabus plus documentation showing courses completion is also required

Graduate Record Exam taken within 5 years of applying required for applicants EXCEPT those with terminal degree (MD, PhD, EdD)
