experiences of others nationally

What’s in it for you?

• Standard Membership– Serving the professional needs of all individuals involved

in policing through a professional body that works closely with the forces to ensure that standards of professional practice are met

– No charge to UK policing family including BTP and CNC– Fees to be charged to international, academia and

commercial partners

• Premium Membership (optional)– Serving the personal career and wider needs of officers

and staff working in policing both collectively and individually

– Paid for by individuals on a voluntary basis

Where are we and timeline

• Membership IT system purchased in August - Protech

• Engaging with business areas and stakeholders to ‘configure’

• Initial delivery for Q1 in 2015 for first implementation and standard membership – Federated login and other core services

including CPD, course and event booking

• Consulting with potential members on premium services
