JAPANESE DESIGNStamtec’s coil line equipment is manufactured by Toptran Machinery Co., Ltd. (Tomac), which was established in 1988, and is now a leading provider of superior peripheral production equipment to the press industry worldwide, as well as in the U.S. All the machines are originally designed in Japan, using advanced Japanese technology, and are produced by skilled Taiwanese engineers and production personnel. BUILT TOUGHStamtec Straight Side Presses are up to the toughest stamping challenge. The high-quality construction and long-term reliability of Stamtec presses has resulted in a reputation for dependability and accuracy in the most demanding stamping jobs. Stamtec Presses are available in 1, 2 and 4 point designs, built to your exact specifications, or often available on short delivery from Stamtec’s stock press program

BUILT FOR YOUStamtec Presses employ a variety of drive arrangements (crankshafts, eccentric, link-motion, single-geared, double-geared, eccentric-geared, etc.) depending on the particular application requirements. Considerations for selecting the drive system include type of work (blanking, drawing, forming) type and size of dies, parts material specifications, production volumes required, etc.

BUILT TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDSStamtec selects component materials that provide superior strength, performance, and wear resistance characteristics. Crankshafts are machined and precision ground from high carbon steel forgings. Bearing surfaces are manufactured from alloys chosen based on the specific application.

FORGING PRESSESFor many components, cold or hot forging offers significant production efficiencies compared to more traditional manufacturing methods. In addition, part strength, integrity and material savings can be significant when producing parts on Stamtec forging presses.

Stamtec’s forging presses employ knuckle-joint, or oversized eccentric shaft mechanisms specially designed for forging, and ideal for near-net-shape forming.

Cold Forging forms steel components without breaking down the material, resulting in stronger, more consistent parts integrity. Knuckle-joint mechanisms achieve a mechanical advantage that supplies very high tonnage and a “dwell” near the bottom of the stroke.

Warm and hot forging presses use direct drive or single-geared drive systems with oversized eccentric shafts, ideal for forming small components like ironware, hand tools, gears, engine parts, etc.

SERVO PRESSESWith Stamtec’s Servo Motor Drive technology, the standard electric motor, flywheel, and clutch/brake are replaced with servo motors. Proprietary press controls specifically designed for the servo press achieve a wide variety of stroke lengths and slide movement profiles, while supplying full working energy capacity even at low speeds. The servo press is ideal for applications with complex forming and processes such as drilling/tapping and welding, which occur within the die.

In addition, unique profiles can be created by the end-user. User-defined motion curves allow many various segments in a cycle curve, defined by segment position, speed, and pause duration parameters.
