QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER SUMMER 2017

Welcome to the new Bath office!

The fences are down, the trucks are gone and the traffic pattern has finally normalized. After months of construction, we are excited to announce that the new Bath branch is now open! The project that broke ground in the late fall of 2016, began welcoming members in May, except for one last detail, the demoli-tion of the old building. The original main

office that served the Credit Union well since the mid 1980’s, was taken down mere inches from the new structure in June to make way for the parking area to serve the new building. Joe Gervais, President/CEO remarked, “It was a challenging project due to all of the logis-tics, coupled with our goal to keep the branch open to members during construc tion. I truly appreciate our members’ patience throughout the project.”

The new 2,900 square foot building is a colorful, light-filled space with all the conveniences of a modern banking facility. The new, easier to navigate drive-through facility has two lanes and is equipped with a drive-up ATM and night depository. The new member parking area has been expanded to twenty-four spaces with wider drive lanes to accommodate larger trucks. Inside,

include, a self-service coin counting machine and an expanded inventory of safety deposit boxes with private viewing room. Lorraine Corscadden beams “The building is beautiful and it is a pleasure to greet and serve our members in the new space!”

The Credit Union, its members and employees will benefit from the lower operating costs of current construction standards. In addition, the building is well-equipped with ADA compliant service stations and enhanced fire and security controls. “We are pleased to provide the members in our founding community of Bath with this new facility to serve their financial needs well into the future. It wouldn’t have been possible

without their long-time support of the Credit Union,” added Gervais. We will be officially celebrating the grand opening of the new building on Saturday, July 22nd and invite all members to come join in the fun!
